(Great Things Require Strong Foundations)
Hal-hal besar tidak pernah lahir dari pondasi yang rapuh. Sama seperti perbedaan antara rumah bambu dan pencakar langit—keduanya berdiri, tetapi dasar yang menopangnya jelas berbeda. Semakin tinggi mimpi, semakin dalam pula pondasi yang harus digali.
Great things are never born from weak foundations. Just like the difference between a bamboo hut and a skyscraper—both can stand, but the base that supports them is vastly different. The higher the dream, the deeper the foundation must be laid.
Pohon besar tidak tumbuh dalam semalam. Ia membutuhkan puluhan tahun untuk berakar dalam sebelum akhirnya menjulang tinggi. Kita membangun mimpi besar bukan dengan teori kosong, melainkan dengan konsistensi, kesabaran, dan keberanian menunggu waktu Tuhan.
A great tree does not grow overnight. It takes decades to root deeply before it finally rises tall. We build great dreams not with empty theories, but with consistency, patience, and the courage to wait for God’s timing.
Kekuatan pohon juga ditentukan oleh tanah tempat ia tumbuh. Pohon yang berakar di tanah darat jauh lebih kokoh dibanding pohon di tanah reklamasi. Tanah darat mungkin lebih keras dan sulit ditembus, tetapi jika akar berhasil menembusnya, pohon itu akan tahan badai. Begitu pula mimpi—jangan tanam di tanah instan yang rapuh, tetapi di tanah kehidupan yang keras namun nyata.
The strength of a tree is also determined by the soil it grows in. A tree rooted in solid ground is far stronger than one in reclaimed land. Solid ground may be harder to penetrate, but once the roots break through, the tree can withstand storms. Dreams are the same—never plant them in shallow, artificial ground, but in the hard soil of real life.
Seringkali orang hanya melihat hasil besar lalu mengaitkannya dengan uang. Mereka tidak melihat proses panjang yang tersembunyi: pondasi yang digali dalam, akar yang menembus jauh ke tanah. Apa yang tidak terlihat justru menentukan kekuatan dari apa yang terlihat.
People often see big results and immediately connect them with money. What they fail to see is the hidden process: the foundations dug deep, the roots growing far beneath the ground. What is unseen is what truly determines the strength of what is seen.
Kadang kita bertanya, “Kenapa prosesnya lama sekali?” Jawabannya: karena Tuhan sedang membangun dasar yang kuat. Ia melatih bukan hanya keterampilan, tetapi juga karakter. Supaya ketika kita sudah di atas, kita tidak mudah jatuh. Sebab jika berkat besar datang sebelum kita siap, justru bisa menghancurkan kita. Persiapan memang memakan waktu, bahkan terlihat berantakan, tetapi justru itulah yang membuat hasilnya kokoh.
Sometimes we ask, “Why does the process take so long?” The answer: because God is building a strong foundation. He shapes not only our skills, but also our character. So that when we are on top, we will not easily fall. For if great blessings come before we are ready, they could destroy us. Preparation takes time, and often looks messy, but that is exactly what makes the result unshakable.
Hal-hal besar memang memerlukan pondasi yang kuat. Jangan takut jika perjalanan terasa lambat atau melelahkan. Justru itu tanda bahwa akar sedang menembus lebih dalam. Suatu hari, dunia akan melihat betapa tinggi engkau berdiri—karena fondasimu kokoh.
Great things truly require strong foundations. Do not fear if the journey feels slow or exhausting. That is a sign that your roots are digging deeper. One day, the world will see how high you can stand—because your foundation is unshakable.
